Oro is the second album by medenera and tells of the facts relating to the first era of the world, of which the Roman poet Ovid tells us in these terms: First the golden age flourished, which without executioners or laws, spontaneously honored loyalty and righteousness. There was no fear of punishment, nor were threats engraved in bronze, or on their knees people feared the verdicts of a judge, safe and free as she was. Severed from its mountains, the pine had not yet plunged into the clear wave to discover foreign lands and mortals knew no shores other than their own. The cities still did not surround the steep moats, there were no straight trumpets, curved bronze horns, no helmets or swords: without the need for armies, people lived quietly in the arms of idleness. Free, not touched by the rake, not furrowed by the plow, the earth produced everything by itself and men, satisfied with the foods born spontaneously, collected strawberry trees, mountain strawberries, carnelians, blackberries hidden among the thorns of brambles and acorns fallen from the airy tree of Jupiter. It was eternal spring: with warm puffs the Zephyrs quietly caressed the flowers born without seeds, and immediately the unplowed earth produced fruit, the inexhaustible fields bleached with ripe ears; and rivers of milk, rivers of nectar flowed, while golden honey dripped from green holm oaks.
